PRAYER REWIND NO.3

Hey, y'all! I'm back with the third installment of  CGC's Prayer Rewind series! How exciting! Let's get going: 

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path (Psalm 119:105). 

Y'all, Jesus really is the light of the world. He can light up our lives and make the dark times sunny and new again if we believe in Him and His word. Sometimes, it seems like it's nearly impossible to stick with Jesus when the times get hard, but keep this verse in mind. Jesus is the light. His word is the light. He uses His light to guide us, especially when we need it the most. Here's a prayer from Prayers with Purpose for Women by Jackie M. Johnson:

Lord, Your Word is a lamp in my darkness-a flashlight on the path of life that helps me with wisdom, insight, and hope, even when I cannot see where I am going or how things will turn out. I'm so glad that You know the right direction. You have gone before me and are always with me, so I don't need to be afraid. I choose to follow Your leading. [In Jesus' name. Amen.]
