HOPES FOR THE NEW YEAR + CGC WELCOMES 2018

Happy New Year's Day, everyone! How exciting! It's a new year, meaning the possibilities are endless! I wanted to use this post to share with all you what I'm personally hoping for this year, and I hope you all will not be afraid to share with me as well. Let's get going:

So, there are many MANY things I'm praying for and trying to work on for 2018. The first and most important thing I hope to work on is my relationship with the Lord. This is, of course, the most important thing we Christians need to do, and I intend to really try hard to create a daily habit of talking with the Lord and studying His Word. The second thing I hope to work on is living a healthier lifestyle. This includes eating habits, exercise, and sleep. It's just so important to keep those three things up because they can help you feel SO MUCH BETTER. Trust me on this one. I think we all struggle with living a healthy lifestyle sometime or another, which is ok. It's just important to not live unhealthily for too long. The third thing I hope to work on is keeping up with this blog! I don't want to get off track like I did in November. You guys deserve my best, and God deserves my best; therefore, I'm really going to work on giving y'all just that! As far as achievements are concerned, I hope to accomplish the following: all A's for the second semester of this school year and the first semester of the following school year, a gold medal on the National Latin Exam (yes, I LOVE Latin!), medals to bring home from the Latin state convention, more singing opportunities, more theater opportunities, more dance experience, and more readers on this blog! Now, of course, these are just material things, but one can still work for material things as long as they can glorify God in doing or gaining them.  Well, y'all, that's pretty much the gist of what I'm hoping and praying for this year. Now, onto the second part of this post:

I hope this year is a fruitful and abundant year for the blog! It'll be the first full year that posts will be going up, since I only started this blog in October! I can't wait to see what the future has in store! Glory be to God! The holiday season is pretty much over, so blog posts will definitely be back on regular schedule now. In case you forgot, there're posts every Monday, and they alternate between Prayer Rewinds and creative content. Sometimes, there will posts multiple times a week like there have been during this past holiday season, but don't expect that too often. See y'all on the 8th!
