PRAYER REWIND NO.4

Hey, y'all! Welcome back to the Prayer Rewind! We're back on regular schedule this week. I hope you all had a great holiday season! Let's get started: 

Listen, O heavens, and I will speak; hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God (Deuteronomy 32:1-3)!

How great is our God! God can give us the power to do anything because He Himself has that power! Through His Words, we can get a spiritual cleansing and get our hearts in the right places. We just need to make sure we give God the power and praise in EVERYTHING we do! Here's a prayer from Prayers with Purpose for Women by Jackie M. Johnson:

Lord, I thank You for Your words that speak to my heart and needs. I long to soak in Your teaching and learn more about You. Your life-giving messages are like rain showers on new, green grass. I need not just a sprinkle but a downpour-a soaking, abundant rain in my dry heart! Even though life can be challenging, I will proclaim the name of the Lord and praise the greatness of our God! [In Jesus' name.  Amen.]
