HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

GOD IS LOVE

Happy Valentine's Day, y'all!! So, we know that today, we're supposed to celebrate the love we have for others, and they are supposed to do so in return. But, what about God? What about God's love? Every year, I find myself forgetting about my love for God on this day. Now, of course, we should show our love and appreciation to God everyday, so why does it seem like He's hard to remember on this day? That's a different answer for each person, but I bet it contributes to our being distracted by gifts and treats and each other. This Valentine's Day, let's focus on the love of God! Let's thank Him for His unremitting love, and let's return that love to Him in any way we can. Here are three verses to celebrate this holiday with:

Romans 5:8 God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
