PRAYER REWIND NO.8

Hey, y'all! I know it's been  a while, but I'm back with everyone's favorite series! Once again, I apologize for missing a couple of posts, but I can assure you that I will make more of an effort not to let that happen again. Let's go ahead and get going:

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We should all strive to be righteous, and we can achieve righteousness by reading, studying. and acting upon God's word. Every thing that we need to walk this life and make it to Heaven is in the Bible. We simply just need to stick to God's word and accept His punishments and rewards, because at the end of the day, it's all for a good cause. God doesn't make any mistakes with us! Here's a prayer from Prayers with Purpose for Women by Jackie M. Johnson:

Lord, I want to be equipped to live this life as a Christ follower. You breathed Your life into the words that men put on parchment-which are now the words of the Bible I read. Teach me, Lord. Help me to accept Your rebuke when I need it. Correct and train me in righteousness so that I will be ready for whatever life holds for me today.
